The goal in Lincoln Unified School District, in partnership with our parents and community, is to provide a quality education for all gifted and talented students in order to develop knowledge, skills, abilities, and values needed to reach their full potential.

The District follows best practices for gifted education, incorporating differentiated curriculum, instructional models, and strategies that are aligned with and extend the state academic content standards and curriculum frameworks.

It is Lincoln’s philosophy that participation in differentiated instruction, within mainstream classrooms for GATE learners, enables students to become analytical thinkers, creative producers, and effective problem solvers.
