Thanks to a grant from the State of California, Village Oaks and other Lincoln Unified campuses received a variety of books in time for School Library Month. Our new selections include fiction and nonfiction works that highlight diverse voices, including activists, members of the LGBTQ+ community and those who are on the autistic spectrum.

Some of these books were displayed at the Lincoln Unified Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, April 19th.

We are happy to offer books with relatable and compelling characters for everyone, while also providing ways for our students to learn more about those with different life experiences from their own.
